The small astronomical observatory located in Viote on Monte Bondone has been given the evocative name of the Terrace of the Stars. Located in a basin, far from the lights of inhabited centres, it is the ideal place to observe the starry canopy at night.

Thanks to powerful telescopes, handled by experienced operators, it is possible to admire the firmament in all its glory, and in all seasons. In addition, with the help of powerful filters, it is possible to use the Terrace of the Stars’ telescopes to observe the sun.

In addition to astronomical observations, concerts of classical and light music, theatrical performances, readings for children and astronomy courses are also held on the Terrace of the Stars.
