Spending a holiday at the Hotel Montana means treating yourself to a unique hospitality experience. We like to make our presence felt to all our guests so as to make them feel at home and to feel they are surrounded by friends. We therefore organise numerous activities to entertain all our guests in both summer and winter, letting them discover the beauties of Monte Bondone. Excursions, food and wine, the outdoor life: we mix these ingredients together to give them a holiday characterised by companionship and fun.
Excursions and walks
Our programme features an excursion suitable for all abilities every other day. From Viote to La Rosta, then up to the SAT lodge or across the landscapes of Parolet. The programme changes every week to let you discover the most enchanting spots on Monte Bondone.
The traditional picnic at Viote
A real fixture on the calendar, which previous guests don’t like to miss. You stroll along the Cercenari trail until you reach the Viote area where all the Montana staff will be waiting for you in its pastures with a wonderful picnic. With Sebastian serving food on platters and Gjeka at the polenta pot, a tasty reward for your efforts is assured.
Cristallo Activities
Accompanied by Cristallo Experts there’s something new to try every day. The programme features archery, five-a-side football tournaments and various entertainments for children. If you love tennis, have a few rallies on our court; it’s one of the highest in all Trentino. Even on the most sweltering of days, a drop of sweat on your forehead will be the only and only result.
Tasting evenings
These take place in the informal and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel’s stube. The most popular is undoubtedly the one devoted to Trentino grappa, a tradition inaugurated by Vittorio Barbieri and which has been going on since the 1980s. Its aim was to showcase an outstanding product, something worth discovering, and so create an informal, convivial moment with our guests. The evening devoted to beers is also very popular. A voyage of discovery as regards the secrets of this ancient drink, with malts and hops and glasses of various shapes and sizes.
Cycling, exploring Bondone
Bicycles, mountain bikes and e-bikes are available at the hotel. Treat yourself to an excursion, pedalling round Monte Bondone to discover all its wonders.
Exploring the enchanted forest
In both summer and in winter we take children and their parents to explore the forest. Illuminated by the lights of lanterns, the trees of the Bondone reveal all their magic and more than one of our little guests is certain they have seen gnomes skipping about here and there. We are staring to believe they exist ourselves.
Aqua Gym
A must for many of our guests. Lots of simple exercises in the water to have some fun and stay fit.
Tournaments for all tastes
Billiards, table tennis, darts, table football … at the Montana you can also some have fun with the many tournaments organised daily by our team.
