Trentino is a land of castles and legends; two things that go hand in hand on the banks of Lake Toblino. Here, overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the lake, there is a magnificent castle which seems to emerge at the exact point where the water turns to mist.

Treated with honour and respect the fairies that were thought to live in the lake are remembered today by a small temple mentioned in the plaque located in the manor house’s portico.

Lake Toblino is located at the end of the Valle dei Laghi and is the ideal destination for those who want to combine romance and scenic beauty. Here, amongst the scent of lemons, olives and rosemary, you can admire Mediterranean vegetation which is the combined result of the barrier created by the mountains and the influence of Lake Garda’s mild climate.

Bordered by rustling rushes, Lake Toblino is also home to numerous species of fish and birds.
